“Our country today is rapidly moving towards being one of the most powerful economies of the world. But some mischief mongers are posing hindrance to this growth story and creating turmoil. The youth of the country is dynamic and proud of the country. I think it’s time for us to grow and overcome our economic problems and emerge as one of the biggest economies of the world. Youngsters in India are very committed to the nation and proud of their country. All of us are looking at opportunity to lead our life well and system to be the “change”. We want authorities to operate within the parameters of law. Law and order is absolutely at its place. No law & order situation ever disrupts ordinary way of life. I would only say, more traffic accidents are killing people, around one lakh forty thousand people and mosquitoes are killing around two lakh people all over the world. The small causes like “mosquito” that cause malaria, dengue and diseases like HIV Ebola are killing us more than war or law & order failure. We should support our ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and stop mosquitoes from killing people. Child mortality and malnutrition etc are the bigger menaces that are killing lacs of people. So, law & order is perfectly fine in the country and police force is doing its duty. As I repeat in all my interviews, it’s not the numbers but the quality of police personnel that needs improvement. Cops should be well trained and keep pace with science and technology. The quality of constables recruited should be better. They should beat least graduate and should also be paid better. They should be trained to depend on science and technology in the investigation and should be allowed to grow up to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).”
